According to the bilateral agreements established between the Latvian government and various Asian nations, the State Education Development Agency of Latvia (SEDA; Latvian: Valsts izglītības attīstības aģentūra – VIAA) provides scholarships for international students, researchers, and faculty members.

Students pursuing Bachelor's, Master's, and the first level of professional higher education can receive a monthly stipend of 500 Euros. Ph.D. candidates are eligible for a monthly amount of 670 Euros.

Additionally, numerous university-specific scholarships are available for outstanding students.
